    • Audi North America CEO Johan De Nysschen steps down and resigns

In a bit of a surprising move the Audi North America CEO Johan De Nysschen resigned after nearly 20 years with the company. Apparently the move was made ahead of a more aggressive overhaul that is going to take place in the executive ranks of the VW Group who wants more aggressive action against BMW. We are still waiting on official word from Audi but De Nysschen left stating the following, “These have truly been the best years of my life, and I know the best years for Audi still lie ahead. It is a magnificent company, a magnificent brand and I shall watch the continued progress of the four rings with interest and envy.”
