• W211 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG with Wesitec M113 supercharger upgrade goes 10.7@132 in the 1/4 mile at MIR

Great results yet again from a Weistec upgrade Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicle. This particular E55 AMG has the Weistec 3.0 liter supercharger upgrade for the W211 E55 AMG and M113K equipped Mercedes AMG vehicles. So what is the result? How about a 10.757@132.92 miles per hour at the MIR drag strip. In addition to the supercharger the car also has the Weistec 82mm throttle body upgrade, headers, drag radials and 97 octane gas.

The tune was for pump gas however so there is more that can be had form this setup with race gas, a new tune, and more boost. Video and timeslip below, congrats again to Weistec for great work pushing AMG platforms.

You obviously didn't read everything. It's cool. I know you guys are all friends. I didn't expect nothing less of you. This kinda sounds like a text I just saw. Think long and hard and you'll figure it out.

I like the guys there but it's business. I'll read your threads posted after I'm done with my work for the day but what's wrong with me sharing my experiences with them? Is it supposed to be one-sided? Others have also posted.

Saying things like you don't trust them to fill your tires with air is ridiculous. What have they done to you personally? What is your personal experience?

Doesn't the TTM business show you forum perception isn't always reality?

First of all nice double negative LOL....Second, I did read the MBW links you posted and in one of them the customers shop installed the cooling system incorrectly, but I guess that is Weistec's fault huh ? Not to mention, which you obviously don't know....the car the blower was installed on had about 80,000 hard miles on it. It's one thing if a Weistec blower grenades a fairly new M156, to my knowledge that has not happened.
It's an entirely different thing when someone tries to squeeze every last drop of power out of an old worn out motor and it goes pop. Guys like you are the reason the forums suck these days. But I guess circulating misinformation is all you're good at. So in that case, well done.

^ Regarding the member above, I was with the guys from Weistec when he was trying to make an event. He had some car issues with his CLK63 Black Series and the whole time the Weistec guys were saying how they were more than willing to help him in their free time so he could make the event. At no charge also... this when they could have been eating dinner, having some drinks, etc.

How is that terrible customer service when he wasn't even a customer and they were willing to do that?

Additionally, at the same event @fastgti69 had car trouble and Wesitec said they were more than willing to help him get it working if possible for him to attend the event.

I mean this is bad stuff? Really?

Yeah, it was me....I bought a tune from Weistec for my long tubes. Had multiple issues installing them and they would return calls and texts immediately to help me out. they even offered to stop in LA on their way to the NFZ event to help my mechanic out. Horrible service LOL. Not to mention when they got back I sent them my car and they had it fixed in a couple of days and flatbedded back to my house.

It amazes me how idiots try to paint a picture of someone they have ZERO knowledge of or firsthand experience with. I guess Jake and the guys at EC are putting alot of RedBull in your Koolaid LOL

not to mention all the transmission work they did on my car...

Yeah, they do pretty good work LOL.

Just posting that now? WTF??!! LOL.

Anyway, glad they got your trans issues resolved. Car sounds good too!

LOL - yeah I forgot about that video until just now. I can't even explain how good it sounds now. With just the headers, no cats, it sounded like $#@!. I had them weld in 200CEL high flow cats right behind the header merge and that fixed it with very little loss in power, if any. Car is a handful now.
Buddy of mine has an M156 E63 with the MCT gearbox. His is tuned. We did a freeway pull when I was 100% stock and we were dead even 60-130. After my mods I literally put bus lengths on him. I'd be interested to know what it runs the 1/4 in now....

I would think you're around 120 in trap speed? Or close to it?

Probably, more interested in ET though. I don't pay much attention to traps in the 1/4.

I pretty much pay attention to trap speed more than anything else. When it comes to measuring horsepower especially.

I'm having the 3.0l blower fitted end of next week here in the UK. Little concerned about the torque figures the 5 UK Weistec cars are running.

My EC Stage 3 runs 530rwhp and 609rwtq which is pretty good. I drive on the Autobahn every 2 weeks for 600miles so torque is what's required, not 1/4 mile bursts.
The issue the UK Weistecs are having is they are very low on torque. The M113K ones are at around 530rwtq which is a long way off the quoted 615rwtq. The quoted 575rwhp is spot on the money and with a bit more fine tuning of the map should be nearer the 600rwhp mark.

Heating issues are also a problem. Unless you have split cooling, Killer Chiller and Meth it seems you will also have issues after just one or two WOT runs

If Weistec are online over the next few days it would be interesting to hear your thoughts although I know Acid (UK) is in contact with you guys on a daily basis

I'll post some dyno graphs up with IAT's etc once the build is complete

How is the bigger blower going to be lower on torque?

First of all, congrats on the 3.0 liter.

The 3.0 liter will produce the same HP at less boost with less heat. The 3.0 liter is also more capable but to extract the capability you need to spin it.

I really can't make any sense of the less torque comments though as it just doesn't seem logical.

That's why the SL55k is having continuous dyno run tests and file updates to see where the issues lie. Not just the 55k but also the 63 NA cars also low on torque

I'm confident in 575+rwhp but hoping to match my 609rwtq

I'll keep you posted and thanks for the reply Click here to enlarge
