      The 2014 Audi R8 V10 Plus is currently the highest performance Audi R8 options in the lineup. It has the big 5.2 liter V10 with a more aggressive tune sporting 550 horsepower. The dual clutch transmission replaces the sequential manual previously used for quicker shifts. This thing should accelerate impressively especially with its all wheel drive helping the launch so what did Emdunds get out of it? An 11.3@123 .8 in the 1/4 mile.


      The ET is good but the trap speed is somewhat disappointing especially considering AMS got an 11.4@126.76. The car still isn't quite on par with its LP-560-4 cousin but the gap is tiny at this point. AMS and Edmunds both got similar elapsed times so maybe the weather affected the Edmunds trap speed.

      11.3@123.8 is definitely quick it just does not look so good when a stock Porsche 911 Turbo is running just above mid 10's with a 129.8 mile per hour trap speed.
