    • Mercedes CLK class making a comeback for 2015? C-Class coupe dropped for W205 generation?

Somebody at Mercedes-Benz really needs to make up their minds. With the W204 generation C-Class the CLK name was killed off. Instead of a CLK, Mercedes-Benz decided to do the C207 Mercedes E-Class coupe. This model shares a lot of parts with the W204 C-Class but the decision was made to make it an E-Class while the C would get its own coupe. This is all apparently set to change once again when the debuts marking the end of the C-Coupe that will now be a CLK.

Confusing? A bit, as it seems we are getting change for the sake of change. Mercedes wants to go up against the BMW 4-Series and it appears the CLK will be used to do so as a coupe and convertible. So the 3-Series and C-Class can now square off uninterrupted with no coupes as if it was too confusing for the consumer to understand a model can come in coupe and sedan forms like the E-Class currently does.

Regardless, expect the CLK to come back and also possibly a CLE class to take the place of the E-Coupe although this is not yet officially confirmed. Make up your mind already Mercedes.

        Looks like a Passat convertible.

The back of that looks like a 6 series.
