    • Tuned BMW F10 M5 annihilates a Mercedes-Benz W204 C63 AMG Black Series? Really?

      This isn't even a race folks, it's an epic beatdown. An F10 M5 with a Manhart Racing "Stage 4" package just absolutely crushes a W204 C63 Black Series from a roll. A tuned F13 M6 with this same package was shown recently beating down a tuned Audi RS6 as well. All the Stage 4 package from Manhart Racing consists of is an ECU tune, exhaust, downpipes with cats still in place, and Gruppe M carbon airboxes. So bolt ons turn the M5/M6 into a monster?


      Now the S63TU twin turbo V8 will obviously see gains with an ECU but tune, intake, and exhaust but what is being depicted here is insane. GermanBoost network member @Pea was at the event where these Manhart tuned M5/M6's were running and he was not allowed to run them as they were making excuses.

      Were the opponents hand picked to make the M5/M6 look faster? A P31 C63 AMG recently beat a stock F10 M5 in a half mile roll on race yet here we see a tuned M5 absolutely crush a C63 AMG Black Series? A tuned M5 should win, no doubt about that, but not by instant bus lengths. The C63 never sounds like it is in the right RPM and actually sounds like the transmission has to kick down a gear before accelerating essentially giving the M5 a giant jump.

      This is yet another video from the same source that wants to portray the M5 and M6 as faster than they truly are. This would not be the first time a race was staged by this person for this purpose. Notice we never see videos of the tuned M5's or M6's at the events losing? Well, that's because Manhart sponsors the forum where these videos are published and it's much better for sales to show the cars doing what you see here below.

        I am not surprise at all. I have seen the M5 from PP-Perfromance pull even harder on a stock C63 BS

        I don't see how that is possible... this M5 is running something like 125 traps at best with those mods. Is it faster than the C63 BS? Yes, but to that degree?

        hmmmm. Ok I watched the video again. I am seeing it clearly now. The M5 does strangely pull hard and tears the BS. Could it the BS owner was peddling at a higher gear to make the M5 look good?

        WTh is Jacob stating , Jacob Im blind because I wear glasses but CLEARLY you can see the Bimmer anhiliate the MB. These MANHART cars seem to get better by the moment. There is NOTHING strange about the bimmer what I see strange here is MB could not even keep up, the bimmer just kept on going and going and going!!

        what i don't understand is why comparison videos are OEM whatever vs. Stage 50 whatever and then it becomes a battle about why the Stage 50 car pulls ?????

        show this "Stage 4" M5 vs. tuned , exhaust , intake BS and then post the results .

        don't get me wrong , i'm not a hater of BMWs . i personally love the cars but hate these kind of comparisons Click here to enlarge

        I've beaten a c63 black series by 1-2 cars. My car with weight and power in a 1/4 mile calc will bring up 123 mph trap or so. This makes the m5 look like it traps 150. I don't believe this video for $#@!. Sorry!

        You can hear the BS driver shifting manually clicking the paddles. Seems he was in the wrong gear as the revs take a while to pick up. But as BadBenz said, it's really not a fair comparison at all. The Black Series with a tune, headers and a driver who knows what he's doing would have been a much different result.

        agreed..people act surprised when the car with almost 100 more hp wins...stock vs stock or tuned fbo vs tuned fbo, thats what I want to see

        I dont know..Ive race a lot of cars that trapped higher than my car and I still won..trap speeds dont mean everything when the race starts at 40 or 50 mph. I dont know if this video is staged or not, but am I surprised that a tuned FBO M5 is a pretty fast car and probally faster than a stock C63 BS..not really..

        I agree with you, but the way it is pulling shows that it has like 200hp over it. It is literally an instant pull from when they started lol. I'm pretty sure a stock m5 is still faster than a C63 BS.

        I can explain.

        When the 63 AMG's came out as well as 55's Gustav started using tuner BMW's to act as if the BMW's were faster. An E55 will usually beat an M5 from a stop but instead he would show a tuned M5 wagon or something like that go against the E55 from a roll.

        With the M3 versus the C63 he showed a tuned DCT M3 versus the C63 instead of stock to stock.

        That's why.

        He also showed a tuned E39 M5 versus a stock E92 M3 to cater to the M5 fanboys pretending the E39 M5 was faster. When I beat an E39 M5, and asked to race the same guy I beat to PROVE it again, I was banned.

        This video is simply propaganda to prop up the M5 as well as sell parts for Manhart.

        Well a stock P31 C63 beat a stock M5 in a 1/2 mile roll race. Im sure we all remember that...

        Gustav? Is this the same M5 that beat the Veyron SS last week? AFAIK, only Russia has a faster BMW... a 1300 WHP M6 trolololol

        ....on the real, I don't buy any video taped races anymore because they are always different instead of consistent.

        @DFM is totally right, a STOCK ( P31 ) C63 would definitely humiliate a STOCK M5, where as a ( P30 ) C63 would need a tune only to be head to head with the STOCK M5.

        So there's no comparison in this video at all. Lets see this same MODIFIED M5 racing lets say a SUPERCHARGED C63 ? I bet a @Weistec 2.3L is enough to destroy it Click here to enlarge

        I haven't been on here much, but that C63 doesn't even seem like it's going all that hard...and if it is...it sounds like it's in comfort mode. I might be wrong but I don't hear any paddle shifts and the fact that this car had to downshift gives me the idea it's in C. When I'm in S+ or even S...it waits to shift until it needs to and it's ALWAYS in the best gear for take off...
