    • Eurocharged offering clutchless/fixed M113K V8 (W211 E55 AMG) supercharger pulleys, picture and dyno

      The M133K motor used in supercharged 55 AMG V8 models such as the W211 generation E55 AMG features supercharger pulleys that use a clutch to engage and disengage. Eurocharged is offering a supercharger pulley for the M113K in a variety sizes which is a fixed design. That means there will no longer be a clutch to engage or disengage the pulley and with this comes additional risk as the ECU will not be able to disengage the pulley should it need to in order to protect the motor.

      That said there are a number of benefits to this design including greater throttle response and lower rotational mass. It all boils down to extracting as much power as possible. A tune to compliment this pulley design is necessary which Eurocharged does offer.

      Pulley sizes as well as dynograph with tune below. Output will change depending on pulley size chosen.






      77mm = 180 crank size equivalent
      80mm = 175 crank size equivalent
      83mm (smaller sc pulley) = 168 crank equivalent
      89mm = stock sc pulley size

        Sounds risky in areas with high ambient temperatures.
        On what size pulley has the dyno been made?

        The dyno was from a 80mm fixed pulley and EC tune on a stock car. Yes, we wouldn't recommend this for people that do not have upgraded cooling and data logging equipment. You need to watch IAT's with something like this.

        But, it is a hell of a difference:

        There is INSTANT throttle.

        From one of our customers:

        "In terms of drivability, I like it better that stock, because the car has power as soon as you touch the pedal. Not 12 seconds later like the stock system (when just cruising). Granted, you can get past that delay with your foot, but now you don't have too. It takes out the delay of the clutch"

        I'm the kind of person that would do this. I also would know the potential ramifications. Good throttle response is one of the most important factors in a performance car for me.

        ya exactly. If it were me I would install the the AEM failsafe gauge. Just set a max AFR or boost level and hook up the ground fault to spark or even the SC clutch and it will turn Sc off or cut spark, if you exceed your set parameter.

        The point is the option is there. It's a good option.
