• DCT E90 M3 + supercharger = Easy 10 second car - ESS-Tuning VT2-650 M3 S65 V8 supercharger kit runs 10.89@127.8

Some people still seem to doubt how potent the E9X M3 is with a little forced air. What you see here is an ESS-Tuning VT2-650 supercharged E90 M3 breaking into the 10 second 1/4 mile range with no drama. This is a four door car that can be daily driven but provide exceptional performance when necessary. This is not even the strongest supercharger option out there for the E9X M3's but what the run shows is that 10 second performance from an M3 with a supercharger is easily within reason.

Expect to see more E9X M3's breaking into the 10's which is hardly considered a rare or difficult feat for the platform any longer.

I see heh what happened with transparency and posting logs in this online forums world? Aren't they mandatory? Click here to enlarge

        No worries, I get it

Considering Evolve tuning is far and away the best I, and everyone thats driven it, has felt on an S65 M3, im not gonna be the one to post things for others to emulate, not that you were intending to do so.. but many eyes watch here, even those that say they dont Click here to enlarge

of course anyone can plug a BT tool in an monitor, but you would need the car with the file.. pretty sure benvo just lost all his business for something just like that, twice

i meant people watching this forum and seeing the parameters of a competitors tune btw, not people not watching their cars logs Click here to enlarge

I was quoted $1800 to replace rod bearings, I'll prob do it at 50k or if a oil analysis shows a reason to worry.

I drove LM's car today.... Words can't describe it. The power is so smooth/linear, it felt stock ....but with wayyyyyyy more power. It's the fastest car I've ever driven. There is no surge or drama, it just hooks and goes. I feel sorry for any e9x m3 or 135/335 that runs him. That kit plus the dct is unreal. I can't believe how well that car drives. I also can't believe that's the base kit, when he ups the boost, it's going to be sick

This is not true on the e9x series M3; I have seen this when demonstrated for other BMW cars, but I can hold mine for much longer than 5 seconds, however never counted exactly.

Same here (re: 5s) - is it really only +/- 500RPM? I am surprised on that - but usually launch with default settings, and have never done it for timing purposes.

That's kind of the point. It really doesn't matter what an N54 or other cars do as they will never match the power delivery or feel.

I don't know if it's 500 rpm I could get it up to around 6200 from the 5500 default.

Ok right so you're saying you want to ship over your car to the 'Ring? And drive yourself? Or have someone else drive it there? In case of the former, you should count on taking a one-year sabbatical so that you can learn the track. And even then I wouldn't risk driving such a powerful car anywhere close to the limit...but you can of course always let a pro drive your car and see how fast he/she can drive it on a lap. Probably by far the better solution.
