    • Eurocharged tuned W211 E55 AMG takes on all comers including a handful of 335's, 135i, Tial B5 S4, and turbo Mustang Cobra

Very nice video here from GermanBoost Network member Urbamworm pitting his modified E55 AMG against several cars from a roll. His W211 E55 AMG features a pulley upgrade, Kleemann headers, an 80mm throttle body, Eurocharged heat exchanger, supercharger coolant tank to help with heat soak, and a ECU/TCU tune from GermanBoost premier vendor Eurocharged. The car is also on 20 inch wheels from Vossen. The E55 does very well for a bolt on stock blower car.

Basically, it makes easy work for the N54 based cars which are the BMW 335's and the 135i. The B5 S4 is running Tial 605 turbos pushing a healthy 25 psi of boost but it also falls back quickly. The only car that beats it although the run is very close is the turbocharged Mustang Cobra featuring a Precision 6766 turbo at 10 psi. The Cobra is the 4.6 liter V8 'Terminator' model that comes supercharged from the factory and debuted in 2003.

If we were to guess the E55 is said to be trapping 120 on the 20's inch rims although it looks stronger than that in the video. A bit more could probably be squeezed out of it considering some stock blower E55's have cracked 130 miles per hour (many with nitrous) but diminishing returns come quickly from pushing the stock 2.1 liter blower out of its efficiency range. To get more power, the Weistec 3.0 liter upgraded should be considered.

Regardless, this is a very healthy E55 AMG that runs strong. Thank you to @Urbamworm for the video.

A win is a win don't understand the whining. You run what you brung it's not your fault they didn't show up with upgraded turbos or anything else. The fact you ran 3 different cars makes it even clearer. Don't under estimate a FBO E55 I've seen my tuner push them past 500 whp with huge torque everywhere and that's without headwork or cams the standard pulley, headers/full exhaust, intake, heat exchanger/inter cooler, etc. the key for top end in these cars is a proper working water pump, heat exchanger, and bigger throttle bodies. Before my headers (c63) when I dynoed 465-470 whp on a dynojet I ran against one of the shops e55's and got pulled. Now it's the other way around

haha, yeah - i agree. I've always had much respect for the E55's, they get nasty when done right.

@Urbamworm, My car will likely be similar in performance to the white E90 you raced, i just have the standard bolt-ons w/meth injection. If you were up for a run it would just be for $#@!s and giggles, as i expect you would pull me. I've trapped as high as 119, but that was on my own tune. Right now i am in the process of getting my car professionally tuned, so maybe we can meet up once its finalized. I expect to be around 118 once this map is done (93+meth).

The AMG motors are always fierce...it's the drivetrain and chassis that let's things down.

OP you put those cars to sleep up top. Nice runs.

If you have trapped 119 and expect to be close to the same it would be really close then, it just depends if you keep pulling or not past that because I know I will be Click here to enlarge

I can say for certain that all the cars I met weren't running 120mph since the very next day that is what I ran at the track and as you see in the video I pulled on every last one of them 335i or 135i, the fastest one there that night might have trapped 116.

No doubt you won those races, and nice kills, but there are several fbo+e85+meth n54 cars around here (our nations capitol) on stock turbos that trap well into the 120s. ive done my research on the w211 e55s for years (as well as the b5 s4's) so i know how extremely capable they can be.

There is always a "but" or "what if." For those cars you mentioned, yeah they would be faster "but" I would have brought my V instead and they wouldn't have been fast enough Click here to enlarge Just like there are faster 335 or 135 setups out there, there are plenty of faster E55s than mine.

The White E90 is a JB4 G5 Fully bolted with backend flash and meth, alpina trans flash yada yada yada. I believe he was running map 5.

If he threw some race gas or E85 in the tank and ran a custom map 6 or map 7, i'm sure it would have been a close race.
