That is almost twice the weight of the already hefty standard G63 AMG which weighs around 5800 pounds. The G63 6x6 simply dwarfs its standard G63 AMG sibling in size and heft. It's 8 inches taller and is able to ford a river with up to 39 inches of depth. You know, just in case you get trapped in a rain forest by the Amazon somewhere.
There's also an additional supplementary 13.2 gallon fuel tank which makes for a total of 38.6 gallons of fuel capacity. That will likely go pretty quickly moving this behemoth around (which is limited to a 100 miles per hour top speed).
Mercedes-Benz asks roughly $550,000 for this vehicle overseas. Brabus is apparently working with some partners to bring this car in to the United States at $850k a pop. That's a large chunk of change but there also seem to be other channels for getting this vehicle into the US as photos of the 6x6 G63 spotted at the Weistec Engineering facilities in Costa Mesa, California show.
All BenzBoost knows is that having one of these in the garage would be a lot of fun offering unparalleled exclusivity. And how about a G63 AMG 6x6 with some upgraded turbos just to add to the ridiculousness? BenzBoost may just have some information to add on that topic in the coming weeks.
