We will have to wait and see just how similar the engine is but for now we can confirm the capability is indicated to over 320 km/h which means this car with the limiter removed has 200 mile per hour potential. At the very least it is geared for some serious high end speed and for those wondering the W204 speedometer also went to 320 km/h.
What else do we learn here? The AMG body work is subtle, the interior is very similar to the standard C-Class, and there are paddle shifters. A system for adjusting the suspension also appears inside. The wheels also look to be hiding some nice sized drilled rotors and the rubber appears to be Continental ContiSportContact 3 in a P255/40R18 in back. That rubber is a bit narrow for a car with this much torque.
We have all been teased enough. It's time for some concrete details from AMG themselves. The official reveal is anticipated to be at the LA Auto Show in November.
