You have to see it in person, it improves on the old one in every way.

Now that is interesting, I wonder why kind of gains we can expect on top of the performance package then.

I imagine Mercedes is aware of the enthusiasm AMG buyers have for mods, the supercharged 5.4 liter in the 55 AMGs is legendary for making a metric buttload of horsepower with a few simple mods and so is the new 63 AMG motor, especially in the C63 where a simple chip takes you up to 500-520 horses. I hope they were smart enough to build a good amount of headroom into this new engine because that would help tremendously with its popularity.

And yes, I do want one baaad but then again, I never didn't want a CLS even the 550 I drove was great.

Well, how did Mercedes screw up the M275 so badly then?

I hope Mercedes realizes they are becoming the enthusiast brand of choice so I hope they don't go down the BMW route of trying to hurt enthusiasts by making it difficult on them to mod.

It's not the engine that is limiting the power. It's the tranny that is limiting the amount of torque that you can pull out of the engine. That thing looks sooooo sexy though.

This is part of the problem as well, let's hope we don't have another situation that mirrors the C63 AMG.
