• C55 AMG C-class coupe rumors were wrong - C63 AMG coupe with M156 6.2 liter V8 confirmed

It never made much sense to us that the C-coupe would be neutered. Thankfully, that is not the case. The C63 AMG coupe will in fact share the C63 AMG sedans 450+ horsepower 6.2 liter M156 V8. This is exactly how it should be and we thank Mercedes for having the balls to go through with it. This also bodes well for the black series version of the C-class coupe to get the twin turbo V8. Well done Mercedes!

I hate paper racing, and debating which car is faster etc on a track...but I remember seeing this:

        http://www.bmwblog.com/2010/10/19/au...-vs-alpina-b3/

The C63 PP beat the m3, cts-v, isf, and alpina b3....maybe a lucky day as it is not typical. But maybe the newer one will have an even better chance with revised suspension and the power package it has help being faster on the straight. No doubt from all the reviews its not going to happen on a smaller tighter track id assume.

The C63 PP was 1.6 seconds faster to 124mph although took 10 ft longer to stop from 62mph.

The PP C63 likely is already stronger than the M3 around the track and what you posted would support that.

it depends on the track , in a circut like Norburgring which is full of corners an M3 can show better than C63 even with PerformancePack . What C63 needs isn't more HP , it needs losing weight and that's why i'm not looking for C63 BlackSeries. if it's like CLK63 BlackSeries ,then we are looking to an even heavier car than C63

The Ring is actually a power circuit due to its length.

On tighter circuits, I agree with you, favors the M3. The C could definitely stand to lose some weight.
