Charrigan replied to the thread RB's or single turbo with 120k+ miles? Am I crazy?.
" Thanks everyone for their input. Looking deeper into what I'm looking to gain out of the car I am going to rule out a single kit. Ill never push it to the limits of what it's nearly capable. After all this is my DD and want to keep it reliable the way it has been.

I honestly would be happy with high 400hp range. I know you can push stockers on e85 nearly to that point but I would rather have a little head room for a little more power if I get the itch for more. I also don't like pushing engine components to their limits like running max boost out of stock turbos to hit mid 400whp levels.

@VargasTurboTech since your the only one I know of mentioning egt's you may have more insight on this. Is there a significant difference in get temps comparing stg1 with billet wheels vs stg2 turbos at a similar psi? I know running e85 will help quite a bit. I'm all about heat control and keeping temps in sane areas. I have no idea what egt's the n54 even pushes. "

Sticky replied to the thread Is an E30 M3 DTM car a match for the new 2015 F80 M3 around the track?.
" The E30 M3 is definitely lighter on its feet and looks like it is on rails in comparison. The M3 has become more about muscle than finesse. "

" Alright so a quick update. Ken never got back to me in regards to the log file that I sent. I received a Auto-Reply saying that he was busy from all the emails ect ect so not sure if he is around or not.

I don't plan on running this flash at all after everybody's suggestions and wondering if somebody with some good tuning knowledge would like to help me with make a safe fast tune for my car. I only have Bav Tech and BB flash but nice long flat roads in NH this weekend for good logging. If somebody is willing to assist just let me know, I would appreciate the help. "

" Jeeze, the F80 looks like a big old stumbling pig on ice skates after watching the E30 take a lap. By no means apples to apples, but a fun comparison. "

Sticky replied to the thread Moscow night races: E63S 4matic Renntech st.VIP vs GTR st.2+ vs M6 PP-Performance st.2+.
" Great runs here courtesy of BenzBoost member Vasily1. We have seen his E63 AMG in action before. As a reminder, he has a prototype Renntech E63 AMG 4Matic M157 turbocharger upgrade on his car which is putting out something in the 850 horsepower range. We have seen some impressive performance from this car including runs with a Lamborghini Aventador as well as a supercharged C63 AMG and another tuned GTR.

In this run video @Vasily1 takes on a PP-Performance Stage 2 tuned F13 M6 said to making 740 horsepower. In addition, a Nissan GTR with a quoted 700 horsepower is also in the mix.

Thanks to multiple angles and good video quality we get a new view of the action. The M6 and GTR both put up a good fight. The E63 AMG S is the fastest of the trio though consistently managing to open up a gap between it and the other two cars up top. The only run the E63 loses is the very first one where the GTR gets the better start on it but the E63 starts reeling it in.

As the other two cars are on stock turbochargers the power and torque advantage here clearly lies with the E63 AMG and it shows. That stated, the GTR and M6 do well against stout competition. "

I was just kidding. Definitely know what you mean. And I love BMW's cruise because it stays rock solid. I can set it 7-8 over and not worry about cresting a hill and speeding up.

I notice this more on long trips. Happens on the way to Vegas all the time. "

F-that then, if that is case. I have seen some major botched jobs when soldering ecu's. "

Good point on leaving turn signals on. That drives me nuts too. And I don't brake check tailgaters. Instead I slow down (slowly) - that typically pisses them off even more, but they realize they can't be mad because they're being assholes. Awesome.
