So the reason why it was running on five cylinders is because my number one spark plug failed.
The ceramic around the tip came loose and was completely covering the tip....

Despite the engine it's still a Skyline not a Supra :)

A local here swapped a 2JZ into a R32 skyline. Great for trolling, also good for 10.7@140mph.
Gintani. It has since done it's rod bearings. I think at the moment he has a new engine with no supercharger.
Haha I'll tell her.
Blue 135i is mine.
Lots of pics here if you're interested.
Having no front lip was bugging me but I didn't want to spend much money on something I will probably break again.
So I got some cheap ABS splitters. All about that downforce haha....
So at this point it has to be a hardware problem doesn't it?
I've just changed plugs and coils.
How do I check if injectors are an issue?
What else should I do?
It did not pass the test.
It felt OK driving to the track, I gave it a few squirts and there was no...

I'll make do :)
They put out this video a while ago which I thought was pretty well done.

I'm going to the US for a wedding. It just happened to coincide with other friends who will be there and are going to Coachella so thought, why not.

Most of those are 800m.
It was a 2 day event that was a mix of
-400m standing start races
-800m roll races
and a Vmax challenge over 1km.
I only did one run of the vmax and got 23.1@223kmh...
Yes he is :)
I'm going to a track night tonight (road course) so it will be a good test.

I put one on the side of my helmet for a roll racing event I went to.
That way you can see the dash, any cars in front and occasionally a car in my rear view mirror :)
Was also easy to manage...
Seeing logs like that actually give me hope :)
I haven't touched the hardware since it was installed.
Exactly what should I tell my mechanic to check?
WTF, that may have done the trick.
I just unmarried the Cobb from the car, then reflashed with the E85 backend flash Terry gave me and reuploaded the JB4 firmware.
I only got one decent pull but...
No I haven't, thanks for bringing it back to my attention.
So basically flash back to stock then reload the BMS flash.
I'll reload the JB4 firmware while I'm at it.
If it is that simple I will be...
Will copy across my posts from Terry's forum.
Any help would be much appreciated. Also willing to pay any tuner who will work with me.
I don't know how to do that.
Using Terry's flash at the moment, and Dzenno won't do a backend flash as you can't monitor all 6 cylinders with the Cobb.
After things looking good it is back to...
Love the Stoptechs!
I only wish I did it earlier before I spent any money on pads and shims for the stock brakes.
Which lockdown kit do you mean?
The DEFIV kit with solid diff bushings was...
I installed 6 new coils and 6 new NGK plugs gapped slightly tighter at 0.020" (0.5mm).
And it seems much better now, here are a couple of third gear logs....
I've spent the last few days sweating my ass off in 35c (95f) and 70% humidity.
Slightly different weather issues.
Not really sure.
I don't think it is a hardware issue but I'm going to put in new plugs and coils tonight just to eliminate them as a possibility.
I have the revised Vargas wastegate and shotgun...
A few quick blasts confirmed that Map 6 is no good either.
Map 5 seems to work OK though, I'm just going to leave it in that as I cbf at the moment.

I hit a verified 223kmh (~140mph) at an airport event in April, no issues.
I was running a PTF e30 tune.
I don't actually own a laptop and I had to give back the Microsoft Surface I was borrowing, plus it's been raining here so no new logs.
