    5.86s 60-130

    Hey guys,

Was able to get our MOTIV 750 135i out for a couple passes on the private track. Traction was rough, spinning the tires hard in 3rd gear even with boost capped at 25psi in 3rd, but...

Just throw a Stage1 tune on it then and call it a day. Installs in a few min and will give you easy reliable 40whp gains: http://burgertuning.com/M3_M4_stage_1_BMW_performance_tuner.html

Some customers run the ssp clutches so we will see how those do. But for our development car I don't forsee doing anything else with it. From what I've seen flash tuners have the same issue around...

It's been like that on the vacuum gates for years. 100% until around 3psi before target then drops down to avoid over shoot.

The single turbo firmware had the spool up code disabled. It doesn't...

PWM is at 100% through spool. Something in the setup was introducing oscillation at very high RPM. I think it needs much lower P and D constants up there. The oscillation can be fixed but power not...

The turbos had some odd behavior on boost and would definitely require some custom work to dial them in. But power to boost is what it is. When the power wasn't there I told him I didn't think it was...

We may load the CP flash. But, I don't really want the lower peak timing advance values since we use meth. A flash map is technically free if you have the equipment. Just a a bunch of work to take...

Yeah I try to stay out of the drama. All manufacturers try stuff and if it doesn't work you change something and try again. And repeat until you have something that works. Or give up. That's just R&D...

I have his dyno data but won't share it. The turbos worked OK but didn't produce the expected power for the boost levels. When we saw power was so far below projected we didn't really bother trying...

We only post our flash files to the n54tech thread, as its not practical to maintain multiple locations. If any of our files are posted to BB they are probably way out of date.

It shifts itself around 6800 normally so 7000rpm makes me wonder if its something else. But, if you have an ije0s XDF shoot it over and I can test them pretty quickly.

I run a 3.15 in our 135i AT. The factory 3.46 would shift in to 5th around 129mph. Annoying for 60-130 runs and the dragstrip. With the 3.15s it holds 4th to around 140mph now.

Yes those are the ones in the photo above. It means "gear shift indicator" in German. But the table I have has values of around 32,767. I would expect a shifting table to be 3D based on load and RPM....

Gutted at 23-24psi makes more sense. It's nice to see more cars hitting the track. My next track day isn't until Aug 24th. :(

Maybe they read logs via Cobb by mistake and forgot the AEM is actually running boost? 21psi with good timing should be around 600whp. Seems to me to get a full weight MT up to those traps would take...

Nice times for pump! Must be at more than 21psi though if it's full weight. Maybe boost creep up top.

DWP is used on all maps. The test calls to set DWP = 100 to measure vacuum after the solenoids at idle. It's not plausible both solenoids would fail. Anything 2013+ on the JB4 end has the larger...

Yes but he's also at 4000'. So, he's making less power at that boost than we would at sea level. So far his trans is holding though! I hope it keeps up.

We've revved our FFTEC built E92 up to 7400 a few times. But power drops off due to the smaller turbo, so need to go above 7k on a regular basis.

Around 16psi most of the time. But it's load based so will go up or down a couple PSI based on baro and temperature.
