Sticky, can we split the "S55 vs. S65" into its own thread? That'll let debate go on, but keep this thread clean for those of us interested in the comments and info regarding S55 testing.

Awesome trap man! Def a roll racing champ, which is ok because honestly, no one launches daily on the street.
They did it in an E92.
 Because someone disagrees with you? Is this e90post v2?
Let's start a new thread. Sticky your love of your [obsoleted] S65 killed this thread. :(
You know that if you have a 540whp car, the car that makes 540whp 2k before redline (with a smooth decent like above) will actually be faster than the one that makes it at redline. It's...
Are we looking at the same graph? I see a car with a HUGE power band, with 80% of its power from 4k to redline. It's wide and almost flat. This, IMO, is far preferable vs. making peak hp at redline...

Prat10, you should delete your above post. It's way too detailed. I bet only 1 car in the country at the moment has that specific circumstance. PM sticky.
Nice link. The problem is the NT05 isn't a DR. I wish the NT05Rs came in that size.
They have had them just in sizes that don't fit narrow body cars (corvette sizes, etc.)
A 275/R19 would be awesome.

I love how quick you are and they appear great (from what I can see).
I hate the price gauging, however.

Come on now. The 7xx comes from that is the most anyone has actually put down on a dyno.
Regardless of reasons (6krpms, clutches not holdong, etc.) or what it has the potential to do, at this...

Fair enough. I've had mine for almost two years and there is still tread, but they are def not new. I do all my racing on DRs when I'm able to.
I'll probably buy another rear set soon to see if...
Funny, PTF as recently as this week said they don't publicly tune singles when I inquired. So, in reality (until your product actually launches), you need a JB for a single.
This is the largest real (not a sneak peak and wait year) anouncemnt all year!
Terry, when will this firmware be available for DL? I assume it will work in conjunction with Cobb AP?

No, in limp mode it isn't smooth at all and is barely drivable (feels like it is running on 3 cylinders). That's how it is for me.

Sure about that? Dialog from the last couple years has been knock detection shows in timing correction with the misfiring detection system being separate.

AFAIK, the engine running rough is a result of limp mode and not an indication that actual misfiring occurred.

I have stock turbos but with 6MT. I think these issues are common for maxed-out stockers and manual (such is my theory anyway). I can only imagine with 200 more whp will be like :scared-eek:

I'm not talking about launch, I'm talking about being able to mash it at 40mph (or under 80-90) and not light 'me up. You can always add power, but usable 24x7 grip is at a premium (not counting...

AWD > * on the street once you start making power. Even on my slow 500wtq i, traction is a constant issue even on hwy rolls. It's kind of annoying actually.

One could make the same argument about racing with a DCT/auto (rather win by pressing the gas than with driving)...

I would love to hear one in person. I havent yet seen how we can adjust the idle. The majority of people who have it and post say they hate the sound, which is enough warning for me.

But I don't know if we know it'll both hold 600wtq nor if it still causes misfires above 600whp at high rpm. If it satisfies both of those, it would be a good option for sure!
Only pointless for...
