We'll see, I kind of just want to wrap it up and if I need more power stroker it later and do the heads.
you really wont be disappointing, you always have room for that and its a good option that you leave open. I've heard that tighties car is being wrapped up with the high boost tuning as we speak. Click here to enlarge

So gentlemen, I'm considering cog drive more and more for my setup but the problem is you need slip for manuals, right? DCT would basically fall under this.

So, I guess this issue can be resolved on a cog drive to give it slip? Am I correct?

Well, guys who run manual often add a slipper clutch or slipping mechanism of some sort I believe.

Have you talked to Alex about this, if it is possible for this car and if it will work with the DCT software and not freak it out? Or It doesnt even work like that, maybe just plug n play with the tuning?

I've discussed some things but I'm just brainstorming right now so I'm informed about what I want to do. Alex has presented many options, ultimately they will do what I decide on. As of this point, I would like to do a cog if possible. I'm watching the built S54 with the YSI closely.

Yea, and he's on a regular belt too. Your tuning will have to be on its own level then i'm guessing too, you cant use the T-trim tune for this set up.

Just brainstorming, and yes you are right. If they get the T-trim built motor setup tuned at high boost, they should be able to do basically any high boost centri.

I like getting info and discussion from you guys. Keep it on the forum where it can be useful for someone else. At this point, it's too early for me to contact Vortech so I just want to learn what I can.

BMW already de-stroked it to begin with for revs, stroke is only 75.2 mm.
