BenzBoost 2011 SEMA coverage, pictures and details

Well, SEMA 2011 is over with for us. We have tons of photos and will be splitting our BMW, Audi, Porsche, and Mercedes coverage up along with some bonus coverage. The show overall was great and seemed busier than last year. The photo equipment from last year is much improved but some photos are dark due to mistakes choosing the correct settings on the camera and flash. We promise to improve, enjoy the photos and commentary.

This orange CLS with the WALD Black Bison widebody kit with Forgiato rims was awesome although a bit over the top for most people. Forgiato's booth babes were also fun to look at:

A highly modified SLR with Renntech upgrades as well as major exterior changes. Excessive exterior changes? Maybe, but the car definitely is able to pull it off. This car is also the fastest SLR in the world having run 10.29@134 so it can definitely back up the looks.

This SL65 Black Series style kit was absolutely amazing. The car looked fantastic other than its rims. Very well done:

Nothing special about this CLK63 but it looks great:

This widebody SL was way overdone, nowhere near as nice as the white one posted above:

Can not stress how ridiculous this Buick is. Numbers thrown around are that this cost $700+k to build. Full G55 AMG running gear in the car, spectacular:

Super low new E-class with Carlsson body pieces. Rims just don't work for it and it would look better not trying to scrape:

Nice pics. Thanks Joe. The orange CLS is hideous I hope it was just the way the camera recorded the color. The SLS63 is a thing of beauty. So many hot cars. The SL65... The CLS silver black... /drool all

Buick is well, interesting I guess? People are bored with the motor swaps, trying different $#@! all the time.
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.

The Orange CLS really wasn't that bad. But yes, it was bright orange.

Akrapovic really knows how to put on a cool display for their products. It's interesting that there isn't an XPipe on their SLS exhaust for the sake of exhaust scavenging and equalizing exhaust flow. Is that normal for all SLS AMG exhausts?

No idea but this is a good question. The display was pretty impressive.

it was an awesome show....There were some totally randoms as well, like the dominator (tornado chasing car), the PJD bikes (paul jr from orange county choppers), adn some pretty sweet drag cars. One other thing to note is a car was stolen from the dub booth outside during the show!
