Mercedes shows off what a G-Wagon is really useful for in the Winter, new off-roading video from MBUSA

Speaking from experience based on Southern California G-Wagons usually seen being driven by women who get them to have more space to put all their shopping bags from the local mall. The fact it is one of the baddest off road trucks out there likely never crosses their mind. Thankfully, Mercedes USA crafted this awesome video to show everyone what a G-Wagon was really designed to do and that dominate off-road in any condition.

The local military had a few and the local dealer used to service them. They were in for a lot of repair but honestly not sure if they were under warranty or not. The boys used them like you see above and they had a few problems. Not sure of the exact details but the mechanic working on them said they were in for repair a lot.

I'm sure they are bulletproof, just not damage-proof.

I've never rode in one but I used to think they were like luxury hummers - a friend of mine who lives in dubai used to tell me about one his dad owned. I don't know if it is being middle-eastern that broke it or just the fact that the car isn't made to be driven by middle-eastern people in the desert like ATVs Click here to enlarge

These things are $#@!boxes. The military design is great, however Id rather take an H1 over this. These had electrical gremlins, rusted to $#@! even with on-road use only, and just water leaks up the wazoo. I wouldnt be caught dead in one. I loathed working on them at the dealer..98% of the owners didnt wanna fix $#@!, and they usually had more problems than the truck was worth.
