    NBA 2012-2013

Since the season ended time for a thread for the upcoming season.

Anyway, looks like Antawn Jamison to the Lakers.

Dwight Howard trade also looks to be coming as well.

LA may put an end to Miami's little run here shortly, let's hope.

Yeah the Lakers looking really good with a balance and stacked starting 5 w/ Nash,Kobe,Artest,Pau and Howard. With Howard being the game changer, his presence alone improves defense and they have to double team down low opening up kobe and nash(very good efficient shooter). Also imagine guarding a Nash and Howard pick and roll and still have to worry about kobe on the wing and pau down low.

Going to be tough to defend that is for sure.

Might as well skip the regular season and get to the Heat vs. Lakers finals.

Lakers fire Mike Brown, Phil Jackson may be coming back but he wants organizational control.

    Clippers look spectacular.

Sadly, the Heat look insanely good and will take the East easily. So... who is going to challenge them?

No he wants complete control of the team, as in, to be the GM.

When Phil Jackson met with Los Angeles Lakersexecutive vice president Jim Buss and general manager Mitch Kupchak on Saturday, he asked for travel restrictions, a salary in line with what he previously earned with the Lakers and significantly more say over basketball decisions, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
The travel restrictions would limit the number of road games Jackson would have to attend, a source told ESPN.
While Jackson clearly remains the Lakers' top target, the meeting ended without an agreement and the group agreed to talk again in "a couple days," sources told ESPN.
Jackson was expected to give the Lakers his answer Monday, a source said.

I don't think so, not sure. But what kind of a coach doesn't coach?
