Bay area people, anyone have some 17" rims they wouldn't mind letting us use?

We are getting the car ready for the track after we finish tuning, and I need some 17's so I can run some good street slicks. I will even buy them if they are reasonable. Let me know.

Well that was fast, Terry stepped up with some 17's with hoosier racing slicks on them. That base is covered. Lock down kit ordered, LSD ordered, Axles being sent out as soon as we tune this weekend.Click here to enlarge

What LSD did you go with? Car already got suspension? If you've got slicks, you gonna run skinnies? Line lock, or the ole' fashioned way? Click here to enlarge What do you expect your drag tune to be ran on, e85+meth?

It's times like this that threads automatically updating every 5 seconds is way too slow. Way too slow. And I find myself wondering... why aren't there any new replies? Why isn't it the weekend yet?

Quaife, stock suspension, no skinnies, we do not have line lock so ole' fasshioned, drag tune will be 100% race gas and most likely meth. We will see what happens.

Nitto NT05R (285/40/18) and NT555R (285/35/18 and 285/40/18) are very good drag tires, especially the NT05R.

In my mind these are just as important as the differential lock down kit because all the force to move the vehicle forward is transferred from the wheels to the sub frame then to the main chassis. The stock 335 bushings are known to be very flexible. You might want to look into the Powerflex or M3 bushings. Turner offers Al and Delrin options, but the ride will really suffer with those.
