It's just a building with computers. They'll get the insurance money, build even more buildings, hundreds if not thousands of people would be out of work, financial transactions would virtually come to a halt, erupting into mass theft, riots, and violence. Not to mention, although it may not be in a computer showing the exact amount, we would still be in the red. Even if we somehow managed to get to zero on the principle, the interest would still be there and we'd have no more money.

So while it's an entertaining thought, it wouldn't be conducive to a sustainable resolution.

I agree with all of this but maybe it would push a revolution in the banking system?

Such a revolution would never take place internally and willingly from the banking system. There's no way they'd just give their power away. The PEOPLE need to push the gov't to repeal the federal reserve, IRS, and push to create our own currency along with our own banks ( preferably without the usury ). It's tough because those with the power to allow this to happen without chaos over the world are easily swayed by profit gain instead of personal and true financial freedom.

I agree but as long as people have enough of a limit on their credit cards to get beers and chicken wings during happy hour it isn't going to happen.

    Interesting video.

    • The lack of legislative participation in this hearing shown in the pull back shot.
    • The FED IG is lawyered up.
    • While Rep Grayson is pointing out information that needs to be known, he grandstands by not taking concrete action on discovery (ie. report back on my questions).
    • Elected reps of the corporations.....I mean people, could demand answers to Rep. Grayson's question, but I suspect we won't know more in 30 days weeks or months unless the issue starts to poll somewhere.

The legislative body of this government is broken!
