Going to upgrade the forum software. Will probably lead to some bugs, issues, etc.

Expect downtime within the next 24 hours.

Damn brother...you posted this at 0300 in the morning. Do you sleep much running this forum? I sure hope you were out late last night having a good time and posted that before dropping off to bed...

If I attempt to view a thread on vwboost.com by clicking the link in the "Recent Posts" list at http://www.bimmerboost.com/forum.php, the site says I have insufficient permissions. If I go to http://www.vwboost.com/forum.php and click on the same link for the same thread it works fine. When I go to bimmerboost and vwboost, it shows me as logged in on both sites.

    For example this thread

    http://www.vwboost.com/showthread.ph...894#post454894

is unreachable from the latest posts list on bimmerboost, but I can reach it from the latest posts list on vwboost.

This is the error I get:

Not really. When upgrading the software I don't go to bed until I know it's running. I just can't sleep if the forum is down.

I didn't go out last night and I think I'm over going out and wasting time/money.

Ok semi-solved it. Click the thread, and not the latest post button, and it will automatically take you to the other site. It's only when you try to view the latest post that you get the error.

Still going to see what I can do about solving this.

Problem is Vbulletin was never designed to work this way and they don't really give a crap about it soo... all by my lonesome.

Ok solved this a bit more.

Made some changes when clicking from the top stats links at the top of the forum. It will now take you to the last post in the thread. Not the first unread post but at least it will get you to the thread without error.

    $#@! you Vbulletin I swear...

@folgrz what I can do is install a system that will PM you when receiving rep although this isn't as good as a notification IMO.
