    FBO 335 Vs Tuned M3

This is a video taken from an event in Sweden at Björkvik airstrip. Rolling start on 2nd gear 50-270 km/h

    BMW 335ia 6at steptronic e92: intercooler+downpipes+intake+Vishnu v5 autotune (no meth)
    BMW M3 e92 6mt manual: Intake+exhaust+Evolve tune
    50-270km/h

same 335 vs stock M3 for reference:

Ill load the auto tune maps later and post a few logs. I believe with FBO i only ran about 12 -13 lbs boost max.

maybe there was another issue with the car 16psi shouldn't have been what was seen in the video. Im not trying to defend procede here, just going from how my 335i performs with FBO stage 3 maps. auto tune maps if i remember are very IAT sensitive

Both the N54 & S65 are very sensitive to high temps and will pull timing if the IATs are too high.

More than willing to run my Stock Turbo PROtuned 6AT against you, and I refuse to run meth. IMO, a Stock Turbo N54 will beat a non-supercharged S65, but it will require a flash (fueling, timing & VANOS adjustments) and it won't be a blow out victory. The 335 will have maybe 2-3 cars on the M3, but don't expect to be putting bus-lengths on them.

I dont know anything about this race but I do know that an FBO 335i protuned on e85 will pull bus lengths on any non supercharged m3.

I honestly cannot keep up with all the different options for the N54/55 out there... This combo - full bolt ons, protuned on E85 - what kind of power would that push out? Still in the 400 range, or more like 500?

435-440 whp realistically, unless u r benzy and make 460 on some mythical dyno

You are saying Brenn tuning inflated their numbers and or that their dyno reads high?

I think that dyno reads high... who else has made 460 other than terry on an e85 and meth car that had turbos that were nearing explosion?

Hmmm I think Shiv did right?

Brenn does use a dynapack which usually read a little higher from my experience.

I never understood how people believe that they have supermotors, anyone in NY familar with performance motorsports in Smithtown, NY ? They have a Mustang Dyno and for whatever reasons it reads stupidly high....My 370z put down 342 there where the rest of the united states sees around 315-320 TOPS... I wouldnt even mention that on a forum. Yet a member there posted his post tune only dynochart at around 330whp and said well since its a mustang dyno i should be close to 375 whp and some forum guys believed it where others ripped him apart.. He argued to no end his car was a freak, just funny to me.

At this point we know what these cars make, no one motor is going to be a super motor... when boost and timing are maxed with solid afr and no timing being pulled , that will make X amount of hp on any n54 give or take a few hp.. no n54 stock turbos is doing 470whp (with stock motor/head and current tuning options)... you are fooling only yourself beliving that...

Also, unless its a dynojet i woulnt post anything stating record runs or my car is a super fast n54 ... Dynojets are atleast somewhat consistant. To impress people go to the strip and get TRAP speeds... i feel like the new wave of n54 owners dont go to the strip nearly as much as they did back a few years ago and things have only gotten better... terry trapped 124-125 and shows graphs of 455 or so, D's 6m record still blows everyone elses away and he showed less power than that at the time... I would be 100000x more impressed with a 124 mph trap speed than any dyno graph of any stock turbo car.
