    The New Mercedes-Benz 3.0-l V6 DI Gasoline Engine with Twin Turbo (M276 DELA 30)

    The displacement has been reduced to 3.0 l for the same stroke/bore ratio for the supercharged M276DELA30 in comparison to the 3.5l variants of the M272 predecessor series with port injection and 90 cylinder angle as well as the M276DE35 naturally aspirated cgi engine with 60 cylinder angle. The fiscal constraints of the increasingly important Chinese market, among other things, have thus been taken into account. The compression ratio of the combustion chamber optimised for twin turbocharging is 10.7:1, while the cylinder bore spacing is 106 mm. The new M276 DELA 30 will also be used successively in other Mercedes-Benz model series under the model designation “400”.

    what model would this go in? i'm guessing since it's designation is 400 it'll be in the C400 and E400 and prob the SUVs too. 328HP in a TT I6 sounds pretty damn good. any other pics of the motor? what do the turbo manifolds look like? are the internals cast? cast what? is the block aluminum?

    Yes, model designation with 400. Engine will have with forged internals, Al. block & new gray cast iron cylinder barrel + use of nanoslide technology. The best part it's: The M276 DELA 30 injection system has been designed for fuel types with variable ethanol proportions up to E85.

    The turbocharger unit it's by IHI - ICSI same supplier as the E55k Kompressor & Audi 4.0TFSI.
