    2013 Boss 302 vs 335i part 2.

    Had a couple of runs in mexico the other night. This is the only vid that has surfaced so far. It was against my buddies bolt on 2013 boss 302. car has full exhaust, some fancy carbon fiber intake, and a tune. dyno'd close to 440rwhp. My 335i has full bolt ons, jb4/bms flash, e85/93 octane mix for e60, no meth, stock exhaust, 6AT. This boss 302 is the same one i raced before, but now it is on the red key, is modded, and fully broken in. Driver is one of the best I know. Its clear that thing has responded very well to just a couple of simple mods!



    Chase car was a 2013 turbo 5.0 mustang. I had the boss by a fender or so the first run, then the second run, it was dead even (heatsoak for me?)
    2008 e92 335i: JB4 G5 ISO/BMS back end flash, fbo, e85, inlets, Rb turbos, level 10 valve body + converter, water/methanol.....and a lot more....

    lol. yeah i was hoping they would put the gopro on the boss, but they decided to put it in the chase car. meh.

    yeah i can lol. i see him every week at the car meets. he is a friend, so im sure there will be more runs in the future. one of the guys has a fbo 5.0 mustang that should be similar in power output. each time im out there and i see him i ask if he is ready to race and he always makes up excuses. its happened 4 times so far lol.

    idk man those fbo 5.0 are QUICK but you are making a lot more power than me. I was supposed to race a tuned one with a boss intake manafold last night while I was on pump and i think he would pulled on me by at least a car, to bad the 5-0 should up Click here to enlarge

    I'm actually thinking my next vehicle will be an american car. I've been looking at 5.0's a lot lately and they have grown on me. My 335i is pretty much maxed out for mods (except for a catback exhaust and meth) on stock turbos. American cars are cheap to mod, maintain, and go fast in lol. I was raised a chevy boy, so my father would be rolling over in his grave at the thought of me buying a mustang, but ford has really made a nice car with the new 5.0's.

    Why not LS3 Vette before a 5.0? Cheap to modify (regularly make 500 whp with a cam swap), parts swap around on just about everything. It's a v8 Honda

    I'd wait a bit, the mustang is getting a complete redesign in 2014/2015, looks waaaay different from the sketches I've seen. No more retro mustang look. If it ends up looking like crap get a lightly used 5.0

    Ls3 vettes are still expensive and are close to 30k for a decent one. 5.0's are more common, and the value has dropped a lot on them (I have seen 2011 5.0's going for 22-23k.). I do want to wait and get a 2013 model though. I like the body more lol. perhaps ill wait and see what bobS is talking about with the 2014/2015 body style. I'd imagine the price of the 2011-13's would drop even more once the new body style comes out.

    I'm holding out for this^^^^^^ my next car will likely be a Jetta TDI in preparation for this 2015 Mustang GT. Now I just need to sell this EVO LOL

    Just got around to watching this.

    Cars looks pretty even with you pulling slightly.

    Great run but awful video. You get a higher quality in car vid and I can front page this.

    lol well it was really weird. all i did was update the car to jb4 g5 iso version 24, and then do a couple of test pulls. weather was slightly warmer and about 75 degrees. I was on the same fuel mix too. I raced a 480rwhp supercharged mach 1. put 2-3 cars on it. this same boss (440rwhp) then raced the same mach 1 further down the highway after we let the cars cool by cruising for a little while, and put about 1-1.5 cars on it. I think my car is trolling me lol.
