Germany and Czech Republic Trip 2013

    Hey there BB,

Some may have wondered why I have been virtually non-existent on the forums. Once upon a time i spent the better part of my day conversing on here. Well, over the last month i have had the amazing opportunity to travel throughout Germany and the Czech Republic. The program I went through is called Experiment in International Living, and a local organization sponsored a bunch of high-school kids to go, and i was lucky enough to be selected based upon my grades, volunteering, essay, interviews, etc. The trip was absolutely amazing, and i loved every second of it. Unfortunately i dont have the time or energy to describe the 5-week expedition, but ill let the photos do the talking. I have over 2,000+ photos, so ill select the good ones Click here to enlarge

Here is a website outlining the trip:
    http://www.experimentinternational.o...vice/overview/

    Major Itinerary:

    1. Berlin
    2. Balingen
    3. Hildburghausen
    4. Prague
    5. Cseky Krumlov
    6. Prague again

Within my stays at these locations i explored cities like (many probably spelled incorrectly):
Stuttgart, Erfurt, Tubingen, and others i cant remember Click here to enlarge

Prague was by far the best part of the experience....
    Here are some photos:

Due to how big of a pain that imagepost and tinypic are, i will be stopping my uploading here Click here to enlarge
Throughout these photos there are select photos from the concentration camp Buchenwald.
You can learn more about this camp here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buchenw...entration_camp

Another amazing opportunity occurred when i was in Haigerloch/Balingen on the top of the castle pictured in one of the above photos. I happened to see a familiar Bavarian brother:

It would be awesome if someone could tell me which car this was. It was taken nearly 5 weeks ago.

Please ask questions, and if you would like more photos, let me know!

Glad to be back to the good ol US of A,
    Eric335

PS- @Sticky can u help me re-size the last photos? They are huge....

JK- Auto re-size? They look huge in the preview?

I suggest highly paying attention to the Czech women as if this even needs to be mentioned.

    I really enjoyed Prague.

I haven't been to Europe in a while but I'm thinking an Asia trip is in order. I'd be like a black dude is to European chicks to Asian chicks.

Prague and Munich have always been my two favorite European cities, with Munich as tops. But partying in Prague was absolutely epic. I still feel a little hung over from it, and the trip was in 2010!

It must have been awesome to go at such a young age. Congrats on the memories.

What kind of advice is that for a kid in high school?!?!?

Enjoy them while you're there, and then come home and prepare for college! No point in bringing sand to the beach, even hot Czech sand.

    Sheesh.

But I'm with you. When I finally find my next job, I'll be taking at least 6 weeks off before my start date and going back to Munich and Prague, then Kiev, Moscow, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Tokyo. Perhaps even Australia, time permitting.

What? Guns a deal breaker? @Eric335 would you say you would move to Europe for, lets say 3 years, if a good job offer arose there? being as you just got back from there. I've been a few times but just passing through mostly and only for a day or two at a time. I don't own guns so it doesn't matter to me. I'm not anti-gun I just have no need for them haha. If you knew what I did, you would find it absolutely hysterical as most do too. LOL. I love Europe from what I've seen of it and am definitaley excited to move there for 3 years.

absolutely. I carry every single day. hell, you would be hard pressed for me NOT to have one on any time you see me. right now im wearing an XDsc 9mm with a TRL3 in an armordillo kydex holster with comptac Cclips to make it a IWB holster. I shot IDPA with it yesterday against guys that run 5" race guns with OWB speed holsters and mag holders. im shooting with my shop uniform on, wearing my carry piece with mags in my pocket- as if i was at the shop.

I have a gun fetish. ok, there- i said it. first step is admitting it.
i need a new one now lol, or finish the 20+ projects i have floating around.

    put it this way:

    dummy driving down the street:

"say those are nice cars. nice cars= money. money= piles of cash in the office. pile of cash in office= i want it"

aint nobody got time for that nonsense. take the car, i have shop insurance. get me in between that? you're gonna have a bad day.

It's a beautiful place to start with. Beach is ok, not the best in Thailand but the nightlife more than makes up for it. The hotels are VERY nice if you pick the right ones, chicks LOVE white American guys, and the exchange rate is awesome. 63 bot to $1 if i remember right. you can usually grab dinner at a local spot (nothing fancy) for 200-300 bot, a beer (24oz) is around 100/150 bot if i remember right. I lived like a damn rockstar. Most of the local girls speak English. Just always be aware of "katoys" (lady boys).

Praque is my favorite city in Europe. I go there every time I am in Poland. I made a video for my dad that starts in the middle of the city, then me wlaking across the Charles bridge up to the castle and then over to the eifel tower. Its about two hours long.

The food, oh the food. Please tell me you ate at Kampa park under the bridge. By FAR the best food I have ever ate in my life.

Oh yeah, the girls are pretty cool to, but its hard to really go at it when your wife is there. But when in rome, LOL
