Picked up new computer speakers, Corsair SP2500 they're amazing!

I can't believe how good these are for the money. I went to Frys to pick up a micro SD card for my phone and saw these speakers were refurbished for half off the brand new price. Since my speaker in my laptop is going out and I can't spare it to send it in to get it repaired as I work on it I decided to pick up a better speaker system anyway.

    These... are... $#@!ING AMAZING!

Seriously, if you are looking for a good value that sounds amazing check these out:

    You're in control.
We've designed the Gaming Audio Series SP2500 to be a flexible and capable audio hub that will give you years of performance through multiple PC upgrades. You get a PC input, two additional audio inputs (perfect for a gaming console and your MP3 or network music player), and a headphone connector that lets you tap into the incredible digital processing power even when you're listening in private. Master them all with the desktop controller. The 1.8" (4.6cm) color TFT display looks great, day or night (and even includes a night mode color scheme). You can use the intuitive menu system to:

    • Enable Mod X™ theatrical audio processing for Blu-Ray and DVD audio that recreates the theater experience
    • Select dynamic DSP programs like Late Night, which uses the power of active digital crossovers to redirect bass tones to the satellites
    • Choose custom-designed EQ curves for sophisticated environment simulation and optimal enjoyment of game, music and movie genres

I don't have a link. But the truth is, I'm probably right. People just say this, but I know people who ship lots of this kind of $#@!(mind you I know nothing about this particular product or manufacturer) in containers along with other things they buy, like granite shipments etc. Like the beats headphones for example. I've worn a pair of the over the ear and earbuds and have paid the 100 dollars for the earbud versions at one point. They sound exactly the same and they cost virtually nothing. I've seen things from hundreds of dollars sold at dimes on the dollar from china, its just a fact.

Um ok well these speakers sound better than the other speakers I tried at the store and in my opinion are a great value. If you can get them for $29.99 go for it. The only problem is you can't.

Okay, so $50K for the Emperor 200 is a bit high. But you can always go with the Emperor 1510 for a measley $6k!

i had a 5.1 logitech set up that was pretty good. Now-a-days I just use earbuds with a decent DAC/Amp combo though.

I have looked into this one as well but the problem is it is not rated for 30 inch monitors.

I wonder how inappropriate it would be to request to have the entire office replaced by one of those chairs at work...

I ended up buying this for my computer. Not that bad of a price and sounds amazing. It's portable too. I guess it's mainly for docking an iPod but works for me. Lol.
