    What the M133's engine layout and turbo placement looks like in the CLA45 / GLA45 AMG - Top mount

    I think with the way the motor and turbo are placed this engine isn't going to be quite that terrible to work on. Easy turbo access?

    It's almost as if a motor company finally figured out that if you make components easy to access, then you save money on warranty work. Of course that also translates to us that can't help but play with aftermarket goodies ;-)


    On another note of "things that are easy to change". Those Dunlop Sportmaxx or whatever tires are the first thing to go. They are terrible. Michelin PSS will be mounted shortly after delivery.

    Also, this car comes equiped with 3" mandrel bent exhaust as well as equal-length runners feeding into the turbo. Nice touch MB. Also, I am opting for the performance exhaust, which basically just deletes the resonator. I'm anxious to see if there are any gains to be had with a downpipe. I have a feeling that it will be minor to no gain.

    I don't know about that looks like a big cat right downstream to me.

    I'm being optimistically pessimistic ;-) With the power that it comes with, being that it is a 2.0, everything else is just syrup on the top of the cone.
