    I did do some before and after dynos on the CLK63 and C63 i think but the comparison is a bit corrupted because some had after market mufflers, some had headers at the time etc. i am not sure where the graphs are. I could never really do a like for like comparo which would have involved multiple dynos of each car after each mod. After spending $20k on each sc with install dropping another couple of grand on dynos was not palatable to me. The Kleeman equipped car for example has stock headers but secondary cat and resonator delete while other cars all have longtubes but from different manufacturers. as you can see the usefulness of the data becomes increasingly complicated.

    Would you mind specifying which car has what blower? You have a CLK63, C63 BS, what am I missing?

    Joe, I drove with Jim awhile ago with his stage 3 C/BS. The car was several hundred hp down on our clk's however the trans is such a huge step forward, it felt almost equal. We were going at stupid speeds and I thought we were going to die (we were drifting when Jim took a sip of tea which didn't help). It was not until the carbon brakes kicked in that I thought $#@!, this is a car.

    Not to derail this thread but I am dying how it will compare to my new wagon coming in Jan.

    The transmission is definitely a large step forward and the shorter gearing will have an impact in feel alone.

    Just to clear things up about @Maverick1975 belt issues. First of all I want to say that I am glad that Maverick is enjoying his supercharger on his BS from Kleeman. The Old design featuring the cog pulley from Weistec wasnt direct with the pullies from the engine. This was causing issues when the 2.3L came out. This was done to keep the system CARB approved .some of my friends runin with C63's including @Sirex63 ran with the same issues with the belt tearing apart. I NEVER HAD IT with My SL63. I do know though, that Weistec were assisting them every way possible and sending them belts when needed.

    This is the reason Weistec switched to the direct pulley system on both the 2.3L and 3.0L. My SL63 now has the 3.0L SC with the direct drive. I have been driving it hard without any problems and verified a world record from 60-130.


    I really dont think there would be much diffrence between the 2.3L from Weistec and Kleeman. In fact, I truly believe Weistec has the edge on this one. Put the 3.0L and I believe its game over for everybody.

    whos offering tranny upgrades, oil seperators, modified sprak plugs, upgraded engine internals, larger injectors, and ice tanks?

    I think one could see who really has this platform figured out better than the otherClick here to enlarge

    There have not been any failing units with Kleeman as well.

    Although I do know that Weistec had some belt issues which I have seen causing issues with some of my friends here in the Middle-East.
    The belt issue has not been an issue for over a year now, that was back when they were cogging them on customers cars that wanted higher boost. They have since changed to 8 and an optional 10 rib pulley. Mine and Earls's CLK's are both now making over 1000whp and we don't even have belt issues. I am in the process of testing out a higher boost pulley for Weistec on my C BS right now and I have not had any belt related issues. I have not heard of any belt related issues on their 2.3L systems in a couple years.

    Not trying to knock Kleemann but the Weistec SLS makes more whp than the Kleemann SLS makes at the crank......Just sayin

    I bought a set of throttle bodies from them for my C63 when I had it. I was promised a 25hp gain. Car dynoed 450 before the install, and then 445 after the install. There was a loss of power. The run was done on the same day, same dyno. In fact the post dyno was at a better condition since it was at night

    i contacted Kleeman immediately and showed them all the data sheets. They told me to send the throttle bodies back and they would give me a refund. When I sent them the TB's back,They told me ,I sent them about 100 emails demanding a refund .I would call them and they would leave me pn the waiting line for as long as i can hold on until I hang Up. They only replied to me after a month saying that I needed to have the K3 ECU tune that they just developed in order to see the gains and that I needed to pay an extra 1000euros for the tune and they would send me back the TB's (More BS).

    I am now standing without the 4000$ and without the TB's. Even though I told them 1000 times just to ship back the TB that I paid for. This happened back in 2011 and nothing from them and I gave up a long time ago. Kind of wish that I kept the TB's and never returned them. They tricked me pretty good.

    Thanks for the advice. I do not live in the USA. I dealt with the main branch in Denmark. The person that is dealing with them in the USA is I believe a guy named Cory. I hear he is an honest and respectable man. Honestly, I don't feel it's worth taking any legal action against those hustlers over $4000
