    Brabus 850 - 850HP and 1069ft-lb Mercedes E63 AMG

I really like what they have done to the rear of the car , the diffuser looks sick.

Also what kind of trans holds 1069ft-lb torque, they must have used some new technology.

There is no shortage in power when you buy a Mercedes E63 AMG from the showroom floor. However that is not enough for some people, the S model from factory has 550 hp and 531 foot-pounds of torque from a 5.5 L V-8 twin Turbo engine.

My understanding regarding the torque from Mercedes Enthusiast's January 2014 issue where they have an article about the 850 treatment on a CLS 63 is this:

Yes, it is tuned to put out 1,069 lb. ft., but is dialed back to 848 so as to not "melt the drivetrain".

Similar to the previous V12 where it was dialed back to 818, if memory serves correctly - same reason.

Anytime, dudeClick here to enlarge..............I say they need to fortify the drivetrain so we can get all that torque.

On 2nd though, nah, not really; probably'll cost too much. So I guess 848 is enough going to all four wheels and we'll just have to be satisfied.

Not like its 248 lb. ft., ay?

    Moved to the M157 section.

No doubt it does what Brabus advertisers but as usual there are better tuning options for far less money. They probably ask for a gold plated suitcase filled with cash for this.
