no way thats right. 19"CF5s IIRC were about 23/24 each when i weighed them. I was HIGHLY dissapointed in that.

    **edit- even heavier:

I don't know about the CF-5 other then I read at modbargains.
I was mostly interrested in the F14's weight.
    And that seems legit.

Actually, I did some digging, and the 19" versions of the F-14 are much heavier also
    19x8.5 @ 22.5 lbs and 19x10 @ 24.4 lbs
All depending on your ET value off course.
Considdering that this wheel is lighter then the CF-5 to begin with , it seems to me the weight difference of an 18"wheel compared to a 19" CF-5 wheel is just about correct.

yea, the MB guys run the F14's and love them. Originally Modbargains had said the CF5's were only slightly heavier, or some other misleading terms. so i was expecting low 21-22lbs, I just thought id share a small bit of info so thers knew.

good thread to have.helped me tremendously when picking out wheels.i originally wanted Volks for my E63,but it is very difficult to find Volks to fit Mercedes.they only make limited models in 5x112 and those models aren't as light as the G2 or TE37.i am guessing you could custom order or re-drill the bolt holes if you were really determined, but the Forgestars are almost as light, made to fit Mercedes and way cheaper.i know there have been Forgestar horror stories, but i got lucky.i called Modbargains and they had a leftover set in stock in the size and color i wanted.so i ordered them and had them 5 days later.all good.

Depends what BBS you are talking about, not all BBS wheels are forged. The CH is a cast wheel.

If you want to go big baller, there are the super lightweight BBS FI Forged. But they will run about $10k for a set of 19's.
